'Tobi Odunowo is a Human Resource Expert who holds an M.A. in Management Learning and Leadership from Lancaster University Management School, United Kingdom.

With immense passion for learning and leadership across board within organisations, Tobi has built broad experience in Talent Management, Organisation Design, Change Management, Learning, Leadership Development and Project Management over the years. He holds a Bachelor of Agriculture from the University of Agriculture, Abeokuta, Nigeria and a Masters of Art in Management Learning and Leadership from Lancaster University, United Kingdom.

Tobi currently works as an Organisation Design Specialist for the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS), consulting majorly on Process Mapping, Organisational Structure Analysis and Design and Job Profiling.

In his past work career, Tobi was a Talent Management Consultant with MTN Nigeria holding responsibilities including Talent Management, Succession Planning, Organisational Design and Competency Management. He worked on projects for MTN Nigeria as well as the MTN Group Management Services, South Africa.

Prior to his stint with MTN, Tobi was an HR Consultant with Kimberly Ryan Ltd- a Human Resources development company, where he handled roles around Recruitment, Organisational Development and Strategy.

Tobi gained international work experience as a practitioner within the Talent Development team of Deloitte Consulting LLP USA at the offshore facility in Hyderabad, India. He led projects including a research on formal and informal learning within the SAP Function of the “Big-four” Consulting Firm. He also handled the business process re-mapping for the Talent Development team as part of a firm-wide Business Continuity Planning process.

Preceding his experience at Deloitte, Tobi worked as a Consultant with two indigenous consultancies in Ghana and Nigeria holding Recruitment and Organisational Development roles.

In the prime of his career, Tobi acquired extensive leadership experiences through AIESEC- the world’s largest exchange and leadership development organisation. He experienced intense learning about leadership as the Head of the Global People Development Unit of AIESEC International (now Talent Management Unit)- a team of thirteen individuals of twelve different nationalities working on people development strategies and campaigns for members in AIESEC’s global network of over 100 countries. He was once the National Vice President in charge of People Development for AIESEC in Nigeria.

By reason of his passion for learning and people development, Tobi has attended, facilitated or chaired Management Seminars or Conferences held at different times in Cameroon, Ghana, Germany, India, Kenya, Nigeria, Poland, South Africa, Spain and Togo.

Tobi is a happy husband and a loving father who finds interest in researching about learning and leadership-focused talent development initiatives within top global organisations. He enjoys playing the piano and treasures time spent with friends.
